La Quinta’s expanding population is a result of the abundant amenities and extraordinarily gracious California lifestyle that are afforded to both its full-time and seasonal residents from around the world.

Rancho Mirage

Ranked as one of the top-tier cities in the United States, the city of Rancho Mirage, commonly referred to as “Playground of Presidents”, has been designated by U.S. Presidents, corporate executives, and Hollywood celebrities as the preferred luxury destination in the heart of the Greater Palm Springs area. Rancho Mirage promises the discriminating seasonal and full-time resident the perfect combination of luxury, value and access to some of the world’s finest golf courses, most exclusive residential communities, world-class international events and unrivaled medical resources.

Indian Wells

Everything about Indian Wells speaks of elegance and prosperity, from its wide streets lined with graceful palms to its palatial desert estates. With an active art and culture scene, close proximity to unique museums and sophisticated art galleries, it is the playground of the affluent who enjoy the unique California casual lifestyle of the Palm Springs area.

Indio

The eastern Coachella Valley city of Indio is one of the larger cities in the Palm Springs area and is also known as “The City of Festivals” thanks to several signature events during the year that have made this busy agricultural city world-famous. Developments of spacious new homes and professionally-designed golf courses now surround Indio, and local Native American tribes have built two magnificent casino resorts, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and Spotlight 29 Casino, making Indio a playground as well as a great place to call home.

Bermuda Dunes

Bermuda Dunes is steeped in history and celebrity lore like many of the surrounding Palm Springs area’s other cities. A popular destination for decades, Bermuda Dunes appeals to those who appreciate the privacy and serenity it has to offer. Bermuda Dunes enjoys an incredible average of 354 days a year of sunshine with clean, dry air and offers close proximity to chic Indian Wells and booming La Quinta. Life is easy in Bermuda Dunes, the perfect spot to retire or raise a family.

Cathedral City

Cathedral City or “Cat City” as the locals call it with affection, gets its name from the beautiful Cathedral Canyon to the south of the city, thanks to its natural rock formations that reminded the community founders of a cathedral. Cathedral City is one of the Palm Springs area’s most populous cities and offers some of the most affordable real estate in the Coachella Valley. Cathedral City’s central Valley location makes it a popular choice for those who want to be close to the hub of business and pleasure.

Desert Hot Springs

With breathtaking, elevated views of the Greater Palm Springs area and surrounded by thousands of acres of unspoiled mountain preserves, Desert Hot Springs, also called DHS by the locals, is the most rural of the Coachella Valley cities in many respects. Located on the north side of Interstate 10, Desert Hot Springs is only a short drive from Palm Springs and yet it seems to exist in a world all its own. Its location, directly over one of the world’s most exquisite natural hot mineral water aquifers, sets Desert Hot Springs apart from every other city in the desert.

Coachella

The name Coachella evokes images of a rocking Woodstock-style Festival, date groves or even delicious grapefruit, and all images are correct. The easternmost city in the Palm Springs area, Coachella is also dubbed “City of Eternal Sunshine”. In recent years, Coachella has grown by leaps and bounds as the Greater Palm Springs area’s population continues to spread-out in an easterly direction. Today, Coachella offers a charming and affordable place to live, and is an easy drive to Palm Springs or any of the other Coachella Valley cities.
