The Victoria Park neighborhood in Palm Springs, CA is a Mid-Century Modern lovers dream come true. Victoria Park offers an abundance of 1950s and 1960s built “Alexander homes” which were designed by renowned architects Palmer and Krisel, and built by the now famous Alexander Construction Company.
Jack Meiselman was another renowned Mid-Century Modern developer that built homes in Victoria Park. “Meiselman homes” typically featured a large expanse of glass wall that lined the living room which allowed full view of the home’s sparkling swimming pool and nearby mountains. Meiselman homes are less common than the competing Alexander-built home, but devoted Mid-Century Modern enthusiasts are continuously lauding their virtues.
