Flying Palm Springs Aviation Expo Thrills Valley

I could not be more excited about the upcoming Flying Palm Springs Aviation Expo which will kick off with a Parade of Planes from the Palm Springs International Airport to the Palm Springs Convention Center on Thursday, October 15, at 10 AM.  The return parade will be Saturday, October 17, at 3 PM and will feature a Parade of Planes in the reverse from the convention center back to the airport.

The real fun, however, is everything that is going to happen in between.  Aircraft displays like you have never seen before, educational opportunities, social interaction, exhibitors and vendors will all be on hand to offer attendees a full spectrum aviation extravaganza.  This is your chance to learn all about the aviation industry, including how to build your own plane, so be sure to stop by the Zenith Aircraft exhibit to find out more!

Budding pilots will be able to discover all about the ratings required to fly different types of aircraft including experimentals, UAVs, balloons and more at a Friday afternoon seminar called Fun Alternatives to BFRS: New Ratings.  Some of the top names in aviation will be on hand with a mind-boggling 300 brands represented during the entire Expo.  Get up close and personal with folks like Lancair International, Mooney International, Spencer Aircraft, Tempus Aircraft Sales and Service LLC, Cutter Aviation and many more.

The Speakers Bureau is equally distinguished with the names like Thomas Daugherty from ForFlight, author Ney Grant, Tom Haritos who is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Aeronautical Science Unmanned Aircraft System Science, Kent Pramhus who is the President of Palm Springs Aviators and at least a dozen more of the most prestigious names in aviation.  October 16 at 7 PM be sure to be on hand for the 1940s Aviator Party, which is sure to delight all generations.

The party is beckoning all Fly Boys and Fly Girls to don their “best 1940’s duds to do the jitterbug and the jive” all night long.  With the Saga Strings providing the music and plenty of great food and spirits, I can tell you this will be a party to remember.  Take a walk down Memory Lane in the era of your parents or grandparents (or even your own!) and enjoy this amazing evening with the brightest and best in aviation.  Hope to see you there!
